Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2 November 2026

1. Seller and scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of attendance at “Botox injection in aesthetic medicine”, the live online webinar with Dr. Olga Popescu, scheduled for 10 November 2026, sold through medestetica.ro (the “Webinar”).

The seller and contracting service provider is:

DIGITAL INTERACTION SRL
VAT identification number: RO41459230
Trade Register number: J40/9968/2019
Registered office: Bd. Timișoara no. 7, Sector 6, Bucharest, Romania
Email: info@digital-interaction.com
Telephone: +40 722 659 559

In these Terms, “we”, “us”, “our”, “Seller” and “Organiser” refer to DIGITAL INTERACTION SRL. “You” and “Customer” refer to the person or organisation purchasing attendance.

DIGITAL INTERACTION SRL accepts the order, receives payment, issues the invoice and is responsible for supplying the purchased Webinar. The MedEstetica website is the sales channel.

The Webinar description, the final order summary and these Terms form the contract. An individually agreed term takes priority where legally permitted. Mandatory rights and binding pre-contract statements remain protected.

These Terms do not govern purchases of medical products or other courses.

2. Participants and customer status

The Webinar is intended exclusively for medical practitioners purchasing professional education directly related to their practice, and for clinics purchasing places for such practitioners.

You must provide accurate information when registering, including any professional information you supply.

Each purchased place covers one participant.

We may request proportionate evidence of professional status before accepting an order or granting access. If we cannot accept a booking because the participant does not meet the eligibility requirements, we will explain the reason and refund any payment for that booking.

A Customer acting for purposes relating to their trade, business or profession is a business customer. A person acting outside those purposes may qualify as a consumer under applicable law.

Paying personally, requesting an individual invoice or entering a company name does not, by itself, determine consumer status or VAT treatment.

No checkout declaration removes rights that apply by law.

3. What the purchase includes

The purchase includes:

  • Access to the live online Webinar in English.
  • A theoretical presentation covering anatomy, indications, dosing and safety.
  • Demonstrations on a mannequin and a patient.
  • An interactive question and answer session.
  • A digital certificate of participation.

The scheduled start is 10 November 2026 at 18:00 EET, Romania time, UTC+2.

On that date, the corresponding local starting times are:

  • United Kingdom: 16:00
  • Germany: 17:00
  • Poland: 17:00

Participants observe the demonstrations remotely. The purchase does not include supervised hands-on practice, medical products or individual clinical supervision.

Questions must concern the subject of the Webinar. Available session time may prevent every individual question from being answered.

The certificate confirms participation only. It does not confer a medical qualification, prescribing rights, authority to perform a procedure or a licence to practise in any country.

No recognised continuing professional development or continuing medical education credits are promised unless expressly identified before purchase.

The digital certificate is provided at the end of the Webinar to participants who attend. Any attendance requirements are disclosed before purchase.

No recording or replay is included in this purchase.

Additional learning materials are included only if expressly listed in the order summary. Any promised delivery deadline forms part of the contract.

4. Registration and contract formation

Before paying, you can check and correct the selected event, number of places, participant details, email address, billing address, billing country and any business or VAT information.

The final payment button clearly states that placing the order creates an obligation to pay.

Submission of an order constitutes your offer to purchase. The contract is concluded when we email our acceptance after successful payment.

A payment receipt or automated acknowledgement is not acceptance unless it expressly confirms the booking.

Any payment collected for an order we do not accept is refunded in full.

Our acceptance email contains:

  • The essential event and booking details.
  • The amount paid and payment currency.
  • The Seller’s identity.
  • These Terms and the applicable withdrawal information, including the model withdrawal form, in a form you can retain.
  • A record of any express request and acknowledgement concerning performance during the withdrawal period.

The contractual documents are included in the email or supplied as attachments that can be stored and reproduced unchanged.

You may save or print these Terms before payment.

Contract records are retained in accordance with our legal obligations. We do not promise permanent online account access to those records.

5. Price, currency, payment and VAT

5.1. Price and order total

The price applicable to your booking is presented on the Webinar page and in the final order summary.

Before you place the order, we clearly display the total amount payable, the currency in which payment will be collected, any applicable VAT and all mandatory charges.

For consumer purchases, the total price includes applicable taxes and mandatory charges. A net price alone is not the consumer total.

The invoice currency is determined according to section 5.3.

5.2. Payment processing

Payment is a single payment by card through Stripe, in the payment currency expressly displayed at checkout.

DIGITAL INTERACTION SRL remains the Seller and contractual service provider.

The invoice currency and the currency charged through Stripe may differ. Where they differ, the amount to be collected and any conversion applied by us are disclosed before payment.

If your bank account or payment card uses a different currency from the transaction currency, your bank or card provider may apply its own exchange rate and conversion fees.

We do not add undisclosed payment charges.

5.3. Invoicing

Invoices are issued by DIGITAL INTERACTION SRL as follows:

  • For Customers with a billing address in Romania: invoices are issued in Romanian lei (RON).
  • For Customers with a billing address outside Romania, including the United Kingdom, Germany and Poland: invoices are issued in euros (EUR).

The invoice is sent by email using the billing information supplied.

You must provide accurate and complete billing details, including the correct billing country and any applicable company or VAT information.

Any legally required tax amounts or currency conversions are included or handled in accordance with applicable invoicing rules.

The currency of the invoice does not, by itself, determine the VAT treatment or the currency charged to your payment card.

Billing errors can be reported to info@digital-interaction.com and will be corrected in accordance with law.

We do not increase an accepted consumer total without a lawful basis and any consent required by law.

5.4. VAT

VAT is calculated in accordance with applicable law, taking into account the nature of the service, the Customer’s location and VAT status, and any applicable exemption or reverse-charge mechanism.

The applicable VAT treatment and total amount payable are displayed before payment.

We may request information necessary to establish the correct treatment, including a VAT number and supporting business information. EU VAT numbers may be checked through VIES.

A company name alone does not establish eligibility for reverse charge or another particular VAT treatment.

6. Access and technical requirements

The live platform, joining instructions and access link are sent to the registered email address no later than two hours before the scheduled start.

Before ordering, you are informed of the platform and any required application, account or supported software version.

You need:

  • A compatible computer, tablet or smartphone.
  • A stable internet connection.
  • Audio playback.
  • Access to the supported microphone or chat facility if you wish to submit questions.

Any additional technical requirements are disclosed before purchase.

If the access message has not arrived by the stated time, check your spam folder and contact:

info@digital-interaction.com
+40 722 659 559

This does not remove our obligation to supply valid access.

The access link is personal and must not be shared with participants for whom no place has been purchased.

Problems caused solely by your device, internet connection or failure to follow properly disclosed joining requirements do not automatically create a refund entitlement.

This does not affect remedies where the cause is our service, our instructions, the delivery platform we use or an incompatibility that should have been disclosed.

7. Consumer withdrawal and cancellation

7.1. Fourteen-day withdrawal period

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from this contract without giving a reason within 14 days after the day on which the contract is concluded.

Where required withdrawal information has not been properly provided, the period is extended as provided by applicable law.

7.2. How to exercise the right

To withdraw, send a clear statement of your decision to:

DIGITAL INTERACTION SRL
Email: info@digital-interaction.com
Postal address: Bd. Timișoara no. 7, Sector 6, Bucharest, Romania

You may use the model withdrawal form in section 18, but it is optional.

Giving your order number helps us identify the booking. The absence of a particular form or order number does not invalidate an otherwise clear withdrawal notice.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the withdrawal statement before the withdrawal period expires.

You do not need our approval to exercise a valid withdrawal right.

7.3. Refund following withdrawal

Refunds are made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise.

We do not charge refund fees.

The refund is made in the currency of the original payment transaction, subject only to any legally permitted proportionate amount for services already supplied, as explained below.

Where your account uses another currency, your bank or card provider may apply its own conversion arrangements. This does not reduce our obligation to refund the amount legally due.

7.4. Performance during the withdrawal period

Because the Webinar may take place during your withdrawal period, we ask separately for:

  • Your express request and consent that we begin supplying the service during that period.
  • Your acknowledgement that the withdrawal right is lost once the service has been fully performed.

Merely accepting these Terms, paying or receiving a joining link is not that request and does not immediately remove the withdrawal right.

If you withdraw after performance has begun at your express request but before full performance, you owe only the legally permitted proportionate amount for what has actually been supplied.

That amount is calculated against the full contract price or the market value where required by law.

We cannot charge that amount if the legally required information or express request is missing.

The withdrawal right is lost on full performance during the withdrawal period only where the required prior request, consent and acknowledgement have been validly obtained.

Full performance includes delivery of the promised certificate and fulfilment of any other included obligations.

Delivery of the access link alone does not constitute full performance.

These rules concern the live service. An immediate digital-content waiver is not applied to the entire Webinar.

7.5. Electronic withdrawal function

Where required by applicable law, we also provide a clearly identified online withdrawal function on the booking website, accessible throughout the applicable withdrawal period.

The function allows you to identify yourself and the relevant booking, provide an email address for confirmation and submit your withdrawal through a separate confirmation control.

We send an acknowledgement on a durable medium without undue delay, recording the content of the withdrawal and its submission date and time.

Email and postal withdrawal remain available.

8. Other cancellations, absence and substitutions

Outside applicable statutory rights, we do not offer an additional contractual right to cancel, move a booking to another date or obtain a refund for changing your mind, arriving late or not attending.

Non-attendance alone does not constitute a withdrawal notice.

Participant substitution or transfer requires our written agreement and confirmation that the replacement participant meets the eligibility requirements.

We do not guarantee acceptance of a substitution request.

This section does not restrict withdrawal rights, rights arising from our breach or other mandatory rights, including rights applicable to business customers.

9. Cancellation, changes and delivery failures

9.1. Cancellation or material changes by the Organiser

If we cancel the Webinar, change its date or starting time, replace the advertised principal speaker or materially change the advertised content or format, we notify you promptly.

You may accept the change or obtain a full refund.

If we cancel without a replacement offer, the refund is automatic.

We do not require you to accept a voucher or a different event.

Minor adjustments to the running order that preserve the promised content do not, by themselves, amount to cancellation.

A clinical demonstration may be paused or stopped for patient safety. We explain any resulting change and offer the applicable remedy if a promised material element cannot be supplied.

9.2. Technical failures and other delivery problems

We take reasonable steps to resolve technical failures.

If we cannot provide the Webinar substantially as promised because of a failure in our arrangements or the platform we use, you may obtain a full refund.

For partial failures or other non-conformity, applicable remedies may include correction, repeat performance, a price reduction or termination.

No repeat event is imposed instead of a refund where the law entitles you to one.

9.3. Refund arrangements

Refunds for cancellation or a material change are processed without undue delay and within 14 days after:

  • We notify you of cancellation; or
  • We receive your decision to reject the material change.

Processing fees, including Stripe fees, are not deducted.

Refunds are made in the currency of the original payment transaction, using the original payment method unless otherwise expressly agreed.

A payment collected in RON is refunded in RON. A payment collected in EUR is refunded in EUR. The invoice currency does not change this rule.

If your account uses another currency, the amount credited in that currency may differ because of exchange-rate movements or charges applied by your bank or card provider. This does not reduce our legal refund obligations.

Any necessary invoice correction is issued in accordance with applicable law.

9.4. Events beyond reasonable control

Events beyond reasonable control may affect delivery.

We will notify you and take reasonable steps to reduce the disruption.

Such an event does not allow us to retain payment for an undelivered service contrary to these Terms or applicable law.

10. Professional education and clinical responsibility

The Webinar provides professional education and demonstrations.

It does not provide individual patient care or replace supervised practical training.

Clinical decisions require an individual assessment, appropriate qualifications, prescribing authority, professional indemnity and compliance with the rules applicable where the practitioner works.

You must independently check current product authorisations, prescribing information, professional guidance and permitted scope of practice in your jurisdiction before using any technique.

Discussion of a product or clinical use does not establish that it is authorised or appropriate in every country.

Attendance does not authorise an otherwise prohibited procedure.

These statements describe the educational scope of the purchase. They do not exclude our obligation to provide the advertised service with legally required care and skill or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Materials, confidentiality and conduct

Copyright and other intellectual property rights remain with their respective owners.

Your place gives you a personal right to attend and use any supplied materials for your own learning and lawful professional reference.

It does not permit resale, public posting, redistribution, retransmission or unauthorised recording.

Statutory exceptions remain available.

You must not disclose identifiable patient information in questions or chat, or capture or distribute images of the demonstration patient without appropriate authorisation.

The Organiser is responsible for putting in place the permissions and safeguards required for the clinical demonstration.

A participant’s acceptance of these Terms does not replace a patient’s consent.

We may moderate contributions and restrict access where reasonably necessary to stop harassment, unlawful disclosure, unauthorised distribution or serious disruption.

Where appropriate, we first give a warning and an opportunity to stop.

Removal does not automatically forfeit all fees or override any legal remedy. Any financial consequences must be lawful and proportionate.

12. Personal data and communications

DIGITAL INTERACTION SRL processes booking and participation data for the purposes and on the legal bases explained in the Webinar privacy notice, made available before registration.

The notice identifies the relevant controllers, payment and platform recipients, retention arrangements, international transfers and data subject rights.

Necessary order, invoice, access, certificate and event-change messages are service communications.

Promotional emails or other direct marketing are handled separately under applicable law.

Purchase does not constitute blanket consent to marketing or to publication of your name, image, voice or testimonial.

No participant recording or publicity use is authorised by acceptance of these Terms.

If recording or a separate publicity activity is proposed, we will provide the required information and obtain any consent or other lawful authorisation needed before it occurs.

13. Responsibility and statutory remedies

We are responsible for supplying the Webinar as agreed and with the care and skill required by law, including where we use a speaker, subcontractor or delivery platform.

The educational nature of the service does not guarantee a particular clinical, examination or commercial outcome.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
  • Intentional misconduct.
  • Gross negligence where protected by law.
  • Any liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

No overall contractual cap on liability is introduced by these Terms.

Consumer rights relating to conformity, reasonable care and skill, performance, correction, repeat performance, price reduction, refunds and compensation remain available where applicable.

The remedies stated in these Terms do not replace more favourable mandatory remedies.

14. Complaints and dispute resolution

Send complaints to info@digital-interaction.com, identifying the Webinar, the issue and the remedy requested.

We aim to acknowledge complaints within two working days and provide a substantive response within 14 calendar days.

Where applicable law sets a mandatory response period or consequences for failing to respond, those rules apply. Our service targets do not postpone statutory deadlines.

You are not required to exhaust our complaints process before exercising a statutory right where the law allows you to act directly.

You may seek help from competent consumer authorities or an applicable alternative dispute resolution body.

Consumers in Germany or Poland may seek cross-border assistance from their national European Consumer Centre regarding a Romanian trader.

Where applicable law requires us, after an unresolved complaint, to identify a competent alternative dispute resolution body and state whether we will participate, we provide that information at that stage.

These Terms do not impose compulsory arbitration or a paid complaint procedure.

They do not refer you to the discontinued EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

15. Governing law, courts and language

The contract is governed by Romanian law.

If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protection under the law that would otherwise apply, including the law of your habitual residence where our activities are directed there.

Courts have jurisdiction as determined by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to bring proceedings only in Romania or removes a right to bring proceedings in the competent courts of their home jurisdiction.

Business disputes are also subject to the applicable jurisdiction rules. These Terms do not introduce an exclusive forum agreement.

The Webinar is delivered in English.

The English Terms and order information are supplied before purchase. Local-language versions and mandatory consumer information are also provided where required by applicable law.

An English-language selection does not waive those requirements or mandatory rules on interpreting conflicting versions.

16. Provisions for the United Kingdom, Germany and Poland

16.1. United Kingdom

Where applicable, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 govern cancellation information, the 14-day period, early performance and refunds.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 protects the requirement for reasonable care and skill, binding service information and remedies including repeat performance or price reduction.

Sections 7, 9 and 13 preserve those rights.

The currency used for invoicing or payment does not affect applicable mandatory consumer protection.

16.2. Germany

Mandatory rights under the Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, and applicable information requirements under the Einführungsgesetz zum Bürgerlichen Gesetzbuche, remain unaffected, including withdrawal, early service performance and electronic withdrawal functionality.

The Webinar is contracted as a live interactive session with an opportunity for two-way questions, without an on-demand course or replay.

This description does not exclude any mandatory protection under the Fernunterrichtsschutzgesetz if that Act applies to the actual service.

The currency used for invoicing or payment does not affect applicable mandatory consumer protection.

16.3. Poland

Mandatory protection under the Polish Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights, as amended, and applicable provisions of the Polish Civil Code remains unaffected, including pre-contract information, withdrawal rights, refunds and protection against unfair contract terms.

Where the statutory withdrawal right applies, consumers generally have 14 days to withdraw from an online service contract.

Performance during that period requires the consumer’s express request. Loss of the withdrawal right following full performance requires the prior consent, information and acknowledgement required by applicable law.

Sections 7 and 9 preserve these rights.

Any statutory protection extended to qualifying individuals entering into business-related contracts also remains unaffected.

Where required under the Polish Language Act, contractual documents and mandatory consumer information are also provided in Polish.

Delivery of the Webinar in English does not, by itself, remove those requirements.

The currency used for invoicing or payment does not affect applicable mandatory consumer protection.

17. Duration and changes to these Terms

This is a purchase for one event, with no subscription or automatic renewal.

Our obligations continue until the Webinar and all included deliverables have been supplied.

Any surviving statutory rights and lawful obligations remain effective.

The version accepted for your booking applies to that booking.

Later website revisions do not retrospectively change your purchase.

Changes to an existing contract require a lawful basis and any agreement required by law.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining contract continues where legally possible, subject to mandatory rules protecting the Customer.

18. Model withdrawal form

Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.

You may instead send any other clear withdrawal statement.
